Armando Gomez is a musician, architect, multi-instrumentalist, and new media creative with a deep exploration into the fusion of contemporary drumming and electronic music over the past two decades, sparked by his lifelong love for the drumset since age 14.
He is dedicated to creating unique multimedia outcomes by integrating strategic thinking from a field of multiple disciplines. Currently, he serves as a creative lead, multimedia director, and conceptor of immersive environments at the Montreal-based new media studio Moment Factory, a role he has held since 2012. His work at Moment Factory, combining his architectural training, passion for music performance, and digital media expertise, has helped shape the landscape of immersive entertainment worldwide by developing unique experiences at the intersection of architecture, art, and music.
In parallel with his professional career, his passion for musical interpretation led to the creation of MASS, a unique musical experience. MASS is his personal exploration of modern drumming, performance, and composition, contrasting acoustic and electronic sounds to develop a distinct hybrid performance. This recipe merges contemporary jazz beat-making, electronic music creation, and a deep respect for the supernatural and the transformative power of live music.
